The luxury accommodation in the newly converted Granary includes open plan lounge, kitchen / diner, full central heating, wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine. Two double ensuite shower rooms, with original features including exposed beams.
The two ensuite bedrooms each have luxury 'zip and link' beds so at the time of booking please let us know your preferred configuration for each room - Twin Beds or Extra Large Double. There is parking for two cars and a small enclosed private garden area. You have free access to the Blaenfforest gardens and woodland.
There will always be a complimentary bottle of wine, a few handmade, locally produced chocolates and some of our own eggs or honey if available - and of course the usual warm welcome from Sally and Russell.

The ground floor of the Granary is still stone flagged but now has the benefit of under-floor heating which is lovely and toasty! There is also a wood-burning stove for those cooler evenings as there is nothing quite like relaxing by a blazing wood fire. With double glazing and three feet thick walls The Granary is wonderfully snug and cosy throughout the year. A ‘get away from it all’ winter break is certainly worth considering.
The lounge has two lovely and comfortable large sofas; several occasional tables; a flat screen TV with integral DVD player, freeview and teletext and some interesting books about the area, wildlife, local walks and an introduction to the Welsh language and a translation of Welsh place names. The oak dining table has four comfortable, high backed chairs with padded leather seats.
The kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge freezer, full sized electric cooker, washing machine, iron, ironing board, dishwasher, combination microwave oven, toaster, radio/CD player and a full complement of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, glasses and jugs, tea towels etc. We supply kitchen essentials - for example kitchen roll, cling film , salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar and a pint or two of milk.

The bedrooms are good sized and have well lit, high quality en-suite shower rooms, plenty of storage space and beds with comfortable memory foam mattresses. Each room can have two single beds or a king size double, so please let us know which you would prefer when you book. The window sills are wide enough to sit on here and the views are lovely - either over the fields or the woods. The bed linen and towels are excellent quality, beautifully laundered white cotton and each bed is finished with a luxurious Welsh woollen blanket made from Jacobs fleece and woven at a local mill. These are supplied at no extra charge along with a range of complimentary toiletries. We do ask you to bring your own beach towel though.
Outside there is a seating area complete with a patio set overlooking the woodlands, ideal for those relaxing, sunny mornings with a coffee to discuss your plans for the day or just to absorb the peace and quiet! There are planted tubs and an old fashioned, scented rose growing up the wall alongside an antique water pump. There is a further terrace (still enclosed and private) down three wide steps which can be a shadier spot and has a well used wild bird feeding station.
